This camp is for campers entering 11th and 12th grades. Campers will enjoy a spirit filled, fun packed week. Discussions on the joys and challenges of youth today in a caring and compassionate community sprinkled in throughout the week with plenty of time to play, talk, and explore. (all day)

Join with other bicycle enthusiasts to experience the beauty of God’s creation as we bike together in the northern Lower Peninsula. In addition to great biking, the camp we are staying at is located close to hiking trails and a lake. As we explore the beauty, we will have fellowship with others who love to bike and camp. We will share devotions in the morning and evening and gather around the campfire at the end of the day. Adults, families, and teens (limit of 3 without parents participating) are invited to join the ride. Bicycle Odyssey begins on Thursday evening, July 10 and continues through Sunday afternoon, July 13, 2008. This year’s base camp will be at Camp Petosega on Pickerel Lake. The address is 11000 Camp Petosega Rd., Alanson, MI 49706.
Several day trips of at least 35 miles are planned, with the possibility of a century ride if requested. Maps and support for riders is provided. To make this an enjoyable experience participants are encouraged to condition prior to the event to be able to bike about 150 miles for the weekend. Bountiful biker breakfasts are prepared at camp along with snacks, fruits and veggies, sandwiches and cookies for lunch on the road. Evening meals will be at restaurants or provided in camp.
Bring your tent, mattress, and sleeping bag. Required equipment for the ride are bicycle and helmet, and 2 water bottles. We also recommend basic bicycle tools, spare tires, a basic repair kit and a small first aid kit.
The cost before June 15th—$70 each - includes food, program fees and campsite. Children under 12, $40. By signing up ahead of time you allow time for planning for the group. Registrations received after June 15th will be an additional $30 per person.

This camp is for young campers and their parent(s) or grand parent(s) to discover the joys of camp life. Campers may choose to stay onenight or two to experience an introduction to camp for young campers, huilding confidence and independence. The schedule allows and encourages meaningful interaction between children campers and their caregivers in a setting away from the distractions and demands of home. Time is planned for adult conversation, intergenerational activities and pleanty of time to relax and renew. | ||

Perhaps most significantly, our counseling staff is chosen, in part, because they understand and can relate one-on-one to young people so campers can expect to enjoy the entire camp experience. Along with the planned activities, unscheduled time is left for interaction with other campers and staff sharing common experiences, concerns, and joys of life!

The schedule provides a wide variety of experiences and opportunities. Activities planned on and off-site encourage participants to use and appreciate the gifts they have been given. The camp doesn’t focus on any one physical skill—it allows campers to try a variety of activities throughout the week. Counselors are encouraging and supportive. Perhaps most significantly, our counseling staff is chosen, in part, because they understand and can relate one-on-one to young people so campers can expect to enjoy the entire camp experience. Along with the planned activities, unscheduled time is left for interaction with other campers and staff sharing common experiences, concerns, and joys of life!

Looking for a challenge? Every day is an adventure at Adventure Camp. This camp is for campers entering grades 6-8 and is a time of fun, fellowship, and adventure. Campers will canoe on the Huron River; horseback ride, sail on Lake Chenengo, learn survival skills (spiritual and environmental) in addition to the great summertime activities at Camp Talahi.
