Intergenerational Camps
Intergenerational camps are for people of all ages. Families of all definitions-traditional families, extended family groups, couples, singles, and other non-traditional family groups are invited to gather for rejuvenation, reelaxation, discussion, and fellowship. Intergenerational Camps begin Friday at 4:00 p.m. and run through 12:00 noon Sunday.
Family Camp June 27-29, 2008
Round up your family and head for Talahi for a time of Sabbath and plenty of time to relax, reconnect and recharge away from the demands of your life. Camp will provide lodging, meals, waterfront staff and campfire songs and conversation. Campers are welcome to bring their own tent, trailer or RV or of course, sleep family style in our modern dorms. This camp will give you, and those you love, the opportunity to take a break and enjoy each others company in the beautiful setting of Camp Talahi.
Cost: 1 adult and 1 child two nights $205
Additional family members $55 adult, $35 child
Me and My Special Grown Up June 11-13, 2008
This camp is designed for young campers and their parent(s) or grand parent(s) to discover the joys of camp life. Campers may choose to stay one night or two to experience an introduction to camp for young campers, building confidence and independence. The schedule allows and encourages meaningful interaction betwween children campers and their caregivers in a setting away from the distractions and demands of home. Time is planned for adult conversation, intergenerational activities and plenty of time to relax and renew.
