VISION and Camp Talahi

VISION has arranged transportation for up to 94 youth and adult chaperones from East Lansing, MI to Knoxville, TN. The cost is $100 per person and has been generously underwritten by the Southwest and Covenant Associations.

The bus will depart East Lansing at 1:00 a.m. July 24 and return on July 28 around 8:00 p.m.  Youth and Chaperones are encouraged to arrive anytime between 8:00 p.m. and midnight.  There will be snacks provided, ice breakers and games as well as an opportunity to add your groups identity to the Michigan Conference Youth Banner.

Each youth group is invited to bring something to put on the Michigan Conference Banner.  The banner is 4 feet High and 6 feet long and will have an outline of Michigan's upper and lower pennisulas.  Bring something that represents your group/area or church to attach to the banner with hotmelt glue.

We will begin loading the busses at 12:00 midnight.  We will stop for breakfast (on your own) enroute to University of Tennessee.  Participants are encouraged to bring some cash for 5 meals/snacks on the road.  Youth groups are invited to bring snacks/drinks to share.
